We develop and implement customized rotary dryers for glass processing within the recycling process. The systems are specifically designed to dry moist glass fractions—from coarse cullet to fine glass—efficiently and uniformly, providing optimal preparation for downstream process steps, particularly the melting process.

Processing abrasive materials such as glass places high demands on dryer design. Through the targeted use of heavy-duty wear linings and a robust structural design, a long service life and reliable continuous operation are ensured—even under demanding operating conditions. At the same time, continuous process management enables uniform drying at high throughput rates.

Application & Process Design

Based on extensive process knowledge, key parameters such as temperature control, residence time, drum geometry, and material transport are specifically coordinated. This achieves homogeneous dehumidification of the material and significantly improves the efficiency of downstream process steps.

Integration & Operational Safety

A particular focus is placed on the application-specific design of the drying systems—tailored to material properties, moisture content, and the desired final quality. Through optimized heat transfer and robust plant concepts, durable systems are created for energy-efficient and stable recycling processes.
